Born in Heavensfall City, Pierce is a forty-one year old Senior Archivist in the Third Campus of the Athenaeum. He is a spatial manipulation specialist, having several teleportation abilities at his disposal. He has a romantic relationship with the Campus Director Selena Reis.

Selena has been the Director and steward of the Third Campus for the last two decades. She is a widow, but is now in a relationship with Pierce Kingsgrove.
Book 1: Emerys Mitchell
A nineteen year old graduate from Wheelheim City, Emerys is a talented Mage serving as an assistant Archivist in the Third Campus. He graduated early from the Mage Academy's School of Abjuration, and was immediately recruited into the Athenaeum. His mum still lives in Wheelheim, and he is friends with Lilac Reseigh and Victor Ashwell.
