#0500 Panacea
Class: Auroch; Campus: 2nd, Main Archive; Warning: Alive, Humanoid, Sentient, Medical, Chemical
Archival Procedure
#0500 is to be archived in a standard humanoid containment room. #0500 is to be changed and fed as needed, with nutritional requirements reviewed and adjusted monthly. Maximum effort must be made to ensure #0500's survival.
Blood is to be drawn via arterial catheter once every week, the amount to be determined and re-evaluated yearly (started at 24 drops/vial until #0500 showed signs of anemia. Currently at 12 drops). Distress and pain responses should be ignored during this procedure. Catheter is to be cleaned and maintained daily. Blood drawn is to be immediately sealed and the vial sterilized before stored in a freeze vault. Blood vials may be stored for one year, after which it is to be burned. Requests to use drawn blood must be submitted to the High Council.
Description
#0500 appears to be a male human infant, approximately four months of age. According to Appraisal with magic items, #0500 has the following class & level: Noble Lv 2. It also has the following abilities [Timeless] and [███████]. Due to it's first ability, the infant no longer ages or matures. #0500 shows normal development and health for a child of his age and genetic background. No abnormal genetic mutations, infections, or other disorders have been found during any test, and no origin point or cause has been found for the anomalous effect of #0500's blood, which is designated as #0500-A.
When #0500-A is ingested or injected to another living creature, it reverses any ill effects that has been inflicted within a certain time period (approx. 1 minute reverted per drop of blood). Positive effects have also been observed (strengthening of muscle and bone, sharpening of wit, etc.), but only rarely.
Recovery
#0500 was recovered on the 19th, Mid Green, Year 1769 at Owlwing Plains riftown, where it was reported to have been left on a wicker basket outside the town hall, with a note containing the infant's name ("Panacea"). The anomalous effects of its blood was discovered when the merchant who initially retrieved the infant started selling vials of "Healing Potion" of impossible quality. Athenaeum Seekers located the anomaly before the week's end, with the merchant apprehended and all of their goods seized.

Experiment 0500-007
Approved by HC-06 (1769) & HC-08 (1769); Project Lead: Senior Archivist Bryallen Waters
Test 0500-007-A
Subject: C1769X039
Procedure: A knife is used to cut the subject in the arm 4 seconds before 1 drop of #0500-A is given.
Result: The cut is sealed in the reverse of how it was introduced to the subject. The subject's blood remained at the subject arm and at the knife.
Note: Control experiment exhibited expected results.
Test 0500-007-B
Subject: C1769X039
Procedure: A knife is used to cut the subject in the arm 3 minutes before 1 drop of #0500-A is given. Use conventional methods to prevent blood loss.
Result: The cut is partially sealed, about 1/3rd of the way, in reverse of how the cut was made. The subject's blood remained just like in Experiment A.
Test 0500-007-C
Subject: C1769X039
Procedure: Administer one drop of #0500-A seven minutes after Experiment B.
Result: No effects visible.
Note: Subject started complaining about the cut. A weak healing potion was administered, fully healing the subject. The residual blood was then wiped off.
Test 0500-007-D
Subject: C1769X039
Procedure: Using a dagger with [Sharpness] and [Weight] enchantments, fully sever the subjects arm. Immediately administer one drop of #0500-A.
Result: No effects visible.
Test 0500-007-E
Subject: C1769X039
Procedure: Hold the severed arm of the subject to where it was cut from, and administer a number of drops of #0500-A depending on the time elapsed.
Result: The arm was successfully reattached. The excessive blood loss had no visible effects on the subject after the dose was administered.
Note: Three drops of #0500-A was needed due to the subjects heightened aggressiveness.
Test 0500-007-F
Subject: C1769X039
Procedure: Observe the subject for one year for possible side effects.
Result: No effects visible. Subject reports mild depression after nine months, but this was ruled unrelated from Experiments A thru E.
Note: Subject was reassigned after Experiment F.
